1. Who may use Pairvella

Pairvella is an 18+ platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you confirm your age at registration. We block registration below 18, and the database rejects any profile whose birth date indicates a minor.

If we determine that an account belongs to someone under 18, we terminate it immediately and delete the associated profile data.

You may hold only one account, you must use accurate registration details, and you may not use Pairvella if a previous account of yours was permanently banned.

2. Availability by country

Pairvella is available only in countries we have enabled. Access from a disabled country may be blocked or limited, and availability can change as we expand or as local law requires.

3. Your profile and content

You are responsible for everything you post: photos, bio text, messages, and questionnaire answers. You keep ownership of your content and grant Pairvella a licence to host, display, and moderate it for the purpose of operating the service.

Photos are reviewed by staff before they appear publicly. We may reject or remove any photo or text that breaks the Community Guidelines.

4. Matching and compatibility scores

Compatibility percentages, recommendations, and 'why you matched' explanations are estimates produced by our questionnaire and automated scoring. They are informational only. They are not a prediction of relationship success and are not advice about anyone's character, safety, or suitability.

5. Memberships, billing, and cancellation

Paid memberships unlock features such as chat activation and expanded matching. Prices are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the interval you selected until you cancel, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

Statutory withdrawal and refund rights that apply where you live are not affected by these terms. Staff may also grant, extend, or remove a membership manually for support reasons; such grants can expire.

6. Prohibited conduct

Human trafficking and sexual exploitation are expressly prohibited. You may not use Pairvella to engage in, attempt, arrange, advertise, promote, solicit, recruit for, finance, or facilitate human trafficking, sex trafficking, forced labour, servitude, debt bondage, or any commercial sexual exploitation of any person, whether or not payment is offered and whether or not the person appears to consent. This includes recruiting, luring, grooming, or enticing anyone for commercial sexual activity, sex work, escorting, or pornography, and acting for or under the direction of a third party who solicits, manages, or profits from another person.

Sexual violence and non-consensual sexual conduct are expressly prohibited, including rape and attempted rape, sexual assault, coercion, sextortion, stealthing, sexual acts with a person unable to consent, and creating, sharing, or threatening to share intimate images of a person without their consent. Any sexual content involving a minor, or sexualising anyone who appears to be a minor, is prohibited and reported to the authorities.

You may not aid, abet, encourage, incite, solicit, conspire in, facilitate, fund, or attempt any abuse or exploitation of any person, on or off Pairvella, and you may not use Pairvella to advance, coordinate, or promote such conduct elsewhere.

You may not harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, defraud, impersonate, or solicit money from other members; post non-consensual sexual content; scrape or resell platform data; attempt to bypass age, safety, or moderation controls; or use Pairvella for commercial promotion.

Violations are recorded against your account with a severity level and may result in warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban. Severe cases — anything involving minors, trafficking, sexual violence, credible threats, or fraud — result in immediate removal and, where required by law, referral to law enforcement and, where a minor may be involved, to NCMEC.

7. Enforcement and appeals

Support and moderation staff can apply restrictions or violations to an account. You can appeal any violation or restriction from your account settings, and a staff member will review it.

8. Safety disclaimer

Pairvella does not run criminal background checks. Verification badges confirm a photo check only. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Read the Dating Safety guide before meeting anyone.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk for other members, or are required to be removed by law.

10. Liability and changes to these terms

Pairvella is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or your interactions with other members. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated version.
